Implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the project aims to enhance grid efficiency, reduce energy losses, and decrease reliance on coal-based power generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyze current policies and introduce regulatory reforms to modernize the grid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate the feasibility of advanced technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen the financial sector&#8217;s capacity for green investments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage regional replication of successful solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why It Matters:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kazakhstan is Central Asia&#8217;s largest greenhouse gas emitter, with the energy sector contributing 85% of national emissions.
