Participants &#8211; representatives of government bodies, international companies, and financial institutions &#8211; showcased successful cases from Kazakhstan and Japan and explored pathways for joint decarbonization of the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key participants included Zhasyl Damu JSC, the AIFC, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Kazatomprom, and Japanese companies such as Sanshin Metal Working Co., Ltd., Finetech Co., Ltd., among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 24, a B2B day was held, during which the Kazakh delegation held meetings with several Japanese industrial and technology companies, including Nagashima Holdings, Megumi Corp., Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Power Environmental Solutions, Ltd., Finetech Co., Ltd., as well as the OECC under Japan\u2019s Ministry of the Environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discussions addressed the exchange of expertise in green technologies, industrial waste recycling &#8211; particularly in the metallurgical sector &#8211; and the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM), under which Japan supports the implementation of low-carbon solutions in partner countries.
