ASTANA \u2013 The International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects (IGTIC), in partnership with RSE Kazhydromet and the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted a series of field visits as part of a pilot project to introduce innovative air quality monitoring technologies developed by Lihe Technologies (PRC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective was to identify suitable sites for the installation of new equipment that enables automatic collection and real-time transmission of air quality data. This system will enhance the accuracy of environmental observations and improve the efficiency of decision-making in environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the fieldwork, representatives of IGTIC, Kazhydromet, and Lihe Technologies examined three air pollution monitoring stations and one meteorological site. Chinese specialists carried out a technical inspection and assessed conditions for the proper installation of the equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the support of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control and the Astana Department of Ecology, the delegation also visited the industrial facilities of Astana Su Arnasy and Astana Energy JSC, where they discussed the potential installation of emission control systems directly at pollution sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilot project aims to enhance transparency in environmental monitoring and strengthen international cooperation in the implementation of green technologies. In the future, Lihe Technologies\u2019 equipment is planned to be installed at facilities operated by Kazhydromet, Astana Su Arnasy, and Astana Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
