1. Inclusion in the Registry of green technologies and projects

For whom: individuals, sole proprietors and organizations that own a technology or project.

What you get: official confirmation of compliance with environmental criteria, presentation to investors and enterprises, advice and help in finding financing.

Timing: a decision within 30 working days of receiving the complete package; the entry is valid for 3 years.

How to start: fill in the technology or project passport and send the document package.

2. Project support and finding financing

For whom: initiators of green and climate projects who need investment or grants.

What you get: a check of the project against the green projects taxonomy, inclusion in the Center’s project pool, presentation to investors and international financial institutions.

The Center is now creating the Country Climate Investment Platform (Readiness III) — a single window for climate finance.

3. Start-up acceleration — the GCIP programme

For whom: start-ups and small businesses with solutions in waste, energy efficiency, renewable energy, water, agriculture, transport and green construction.

What you get: the UNIDO and GEF accelerator programme, a chance to represent Kazakhstan at the global Cleantech Days competition. Kazakh graduates have been among the winners there three years in a row.

4. For investors and financial institutions

What you get: access to the Registry of verified technologies and the pool of projects with stated investment needs, selection of projects to your requirements, contact with initiators.

5. Training and tools for government bodies, banks and industry

What you get: 7 sector decarbonization modules, an Excel tool for calculating indirect emissions (Scope 3), an online prototype for assessing climate risks for financial institutions, training videos. Under CBIT — training and advice on climate reporting.
